Be an Election Watcher

Have you ever been interested in knowing how ballots are processed and counted? Political parties are able to appoint official Election Watchers who may enter all areas of polling locations and the processing center to observe the conduct of the election. (Learn more on the Secretary of State’s website.)

In order to work as a Election Watcher you will be required to complete the 20-minute Election Watcher training available virtually on the SoS website, attend an additional virtual training on what to look for when you are observing, and be willing to sign up for at least one 4-hour minimum shift between October 19 and November 3. If you are interested in being an official Election Watcher for the Eagle County Democrats during the early voting period or on Election Day, please click the button below to to complete our interest form and our volunteer coordinator will be in touch with more details.
