EVENTS AND FUNDRAISING COMMITTE

The Events & Fundraising team is responsible for developing and managing virtual (and eventually in-person) educational presentations on a variety of issues. This includes identifying topics of interest, securing speakers, and creating a calendar of proposed events. Initiatives include a “Get to Know an Elected” series to educate the public on the roles and responsibilities of elected officials, a book club, and community service projects. The team also focuses on creating a comprehensive fundraising plan to support the work of the Eagle County Democrats. This involves organizing events such as the annual dinner in August/September, conducting direct mail campaigns, and exploring opportunities like establishing a “Century Club” for VIP donors.

Ways to contribute include planning fundraising activities, organizing educational programs, participating in community service projects, and helping with voter registration drives (VRDs).

STRATEGY, TECHNOLOGY & PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION

The Strategy, Technology & Program Administration team focuses on planning and supporting campaign programs for the field team to execute. This includes writing scripts for phone banks, text banks, and canvassing, as well as creating materials for lit drops and establishing processes for letter and postcard-writing campaigns. The team sets measurable goals for campaign success, creates targeted voter lists in Votebuilder, and ensures that campaign results are entered into the system for data analysis and evaluation. Additionally, the team manages Votebuilder administration and training, provides precinct support, and assists Precinct Organizers with outreach efforts in their respective precincts. Through these efforts, the team ensures that campaigns are efficient, data-driven, and impactful.
