Family Solidarity March for Racial Equity

Eagle, CO 2nd & Broadway, Eagle

Meet at 2nd & Broadway at 11:00 AM

A family friendly march along Broadway to the park and 8 minutes 47 seconds of silence in honor of George Floyd and to acknowledge the struggles and violence caused by systemic racism. Please bring a mask, your sign, a picnic lunch and an open mind.

This is an opportunity for Eagle County families to come together as allies and support our fellow humans. If you are interested in speaking at this event, please get in touch. All attendees are encouraged to spend time getting to know one another and sharing ideas.

Children are welcome, violence and destruction are not.
We will be joined by Eagle Police Chief Joe Staufer and and Town of Eagle Event Coordinator Brian Hall, who will walk with us and provide traffic control as necessary. Bathrooms at the park will be open.
